Ms. O'Rourke is a Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security. She works on the Center’s AIxBio team, focused on tracking and analyzing federal legislation and agency initiatives in biosecurity, artificial intelligence, and national security. She previously worked at the Mirror Biology Dialogues Fund, a nonprofit facilitating dialogue among public and private stakeholders on risks from advances in synthetic biology. Previously, she was on the business operations team at Coefficient Giving. She holds a bachelor's degree in film studies from King's College London.
